Fundamentals of Object Oriented Technology
Who should attend this course?
This course is designed for the experts who plan to transit from structured
design approaches to object oriented approaches. It’s preferred the
participants have basic knowledge about non-object oriented software
development techniques.
What does this course cover?
This course presents the basic concepts in object oriented world along with
various real world examples. The course consists of three parts.
Part one discusses the older methods and solves a simple problem using them.
Part two covers object oriented technology’s basic concepts and solves a
problem through this method.
Part three describes the pros and cons of the discussed subjects for the
managers and system designers. In this section participants learn how object
oriented thinking helps on solving problems, programming, documentation,
project management besides object oriented software metrics, analysis and
review.
In the end participants will get to know object oriented standards, object
oriented databases, object oriented patterns and their latest improvements.
What are the goals of this course?
This course is designed to advance the participants’ knowledge of object
oriented world, particularly those who have started programming with languages
such as Java or Visual Basic. The participants will gain the required knowledge
to enter the object oriented world and get acquainted with RUP.
